# Can we customize the MessageInputView component?

Hi, is there a way to pass our own MessageInputView component ? Or override/modify the current one we have on UIKIT?

We want to build a rich input like this one, can we do that using the UIKIT ?

Hi, @Gustavo_Mantuan  
Unfortunately, we don’t support change all layout of MessageInputView ☹  
However, we are implementing tasks to resolve this issue.

You can use our codes as open source, The only way is to modify our codes directly.
