# Group channel is automatically deleted when the number of users reaches 0

**[Problem/Question]**  
(Platform API version 3) When leaving a chat room, if the number of people reaches 0, the chat room is automatically deleted.  
We ask that it not be deleted even if the number of people reaches 0.

Welcome to the Sendbird Community!

This is the intended default behavior. If you want to retain the channel without automatically deleting it even when all users leave, you need to change the app’s properties. This setting can only be configured on our end. If you would like to proceed with this change, please send your app ID via DM.
