# How to get loading status of a channel list in v3

How to do that in v3?

`useGroupChannelListContext()` only exposes:

- `initialized` (which is `true` even before fetching the groupChannels)
- `refreshing` (which only changes during refresh and not initial fetch)
- `groupChannels` is initialized with `[]`.
