# Input field not focusing in ProfileEdit or ChannelSettings component

**[Problem/Question]**  
I am making a basic sendbird app and currently having issues getting the input field to focus to update name or group name. z index looks fine and nothing is blocking the input. It can get focus but immediately goes away so looks like some javascript is taking away the focus. I am able to update the pictures and save.
