# Not able to upload files with sendbird chat

uploading certain image files giving internal server error. issue only with certain files. other files are working. pdf is working fine. only images have issues.

“@sendbird/chat”: “^4.9.7”,

Try uploading the attached image(error screenshot itself).

**[Frequency]**  
very frequently

**[Current impact]**  
Users not able to upload image files.

yes… this is the file. its a png file

Hello @nada,

We found an issue relating to screenshots on the new iOS and MacOS operating systems where screenshots have a hidden Unicode character (`\u202f`) in them. This Unicode character was causing failures for file uploads to the Sendbird server. The file you attached to this post contains the same Unicode character.

We have since deployed a backend fix to check for this character and you should not encounter anymore issue when uploading files to Sendbird.
