# Pagination problem when using metadata\_order\_key

**[Problem/Question]**  
// Detailed description of issue.  
When using [list-group-channel API](https://sendbird.com/docs/chat/platform-api/v3/channel/listing-channels-in-an-application/list-group-channels) with parameters ‘order’ and ‘metadata\_order\_key’, pagination does not seem to work properly.  
With those parameter and token, api return empty channels. If ‘order’ and ‘metadata\_order\_key’ parameters are excluded, it works as expected when call with token.

Compare results when list group channel with two parameters below

```auto
    token
    limit: 100,
    show_member: true,
    show_metadata: true,
    metacounter_key: 'last_action_timestamp',
    metacounter_value_lt: `${weekagoEpoch}`,
    metadata_order_key: 'last_action_timestamp',
    order: 'metadata_value_alphabetical',

```

vs

```auto
    token
    limit: 100,
    show_member: true,
    show_metadata: true,
    metacounter_key: 'last_action_timestamp',
    metacounter_value_lt: `${weekagoEpoch}`,

```
