# SendBirdCall.authenticate fail

**ANDROID SDK Error ::: com.sendbird.calls.SendBirdCall.authenticate() fail show run time error in android**  
com.sendbird.calls.SendBirdException: The http request failed. (Unable to resolve host “[api-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx.calls.sendbird.com](http://api-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx.calls.sendbird.com)”: No address associated with hostname)

SendBird SDK Version ‘com.sendbird.sdk:sendbird-calls:1.10.5’  
**[1.10.5]**

**[Reproduction Steps]**  
com.sendbird.calls.SendBirdCall.authenticate() show error

**[Frequency]**  
every time

**[Current impact]**  
Android video call/audio call not working

1/ Make sure initial appId correct  
2/ The parameter should userId and token

Do you have any solution for this issue?

I check from dashboard it should be [http://api-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx.sendbird.com](http://api-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxx.sendbird.com) it doesn’t include the .calls

currently I stuck in this step
