# Webhook \> group\_channel:message\_send 관련 문의

[구현하고자 하는 기능]  
채팅방에 안 읽은 참여자에게만 알림 메세지 보내기 기능을 구현하고 있습니다.

[가정]  
A채널, 1번, 2번 참여자가 있다 가정

[질문사항]  
Webhook에 group\_channel:message\_send를 이용하고 있습니다.  
1번 참여자가 이미 채널에 들어와 있는 상태에서 2번 참여자가 채널에 메세지를 보낸경우에 1번 참여자가 읽었는데도  
membres \> channel\_unread\_message\_count가 1로 나오고 있습니다.  
0으로 나와야할 것 같은데 이 경우가 정상인가요? (아래 예시 참고)

members: [  
{  
user\_id: 1  
channel\_unread\_message\_count: 1  
}  
]

위 경우가 정상이라면 현재 채널 참여자가 메세지를 읽었는지를 정확하게 알수 있는 필드 또는 다른 API를 이용해서 알 수 있는 방법이 있을까요?

`channel_unread_message_count`를 참조하시려면, group\_channel:message\_read([link](https://sendbird.com/docs/chat/v3/platform-api/webhook/events/group-channel#2-group_channel-message_read)) 이벤트를 등록하셔서 사용하셔야 합니다.
