A hands-on workshop series led by Sendbird engineers
We’re introducing a new live workshop series designed by developers for developers! Our first workshop provides a hands-on learning opportunity to build in-app chat with Sendbird in just minutes. We’ve included a walk-through of the Sendbird Chat API with the primary focus on messaging essentials. Follow on workshops will dive into advanced features and best practices – practices our solutions engineers have gathered from first hand experiences with our customers. Sendbird solution engineers are specialists that work directly with our customers to implement chat into their specific apps, environments and use cases.
Get hands-on with Sendbird Chat APIs
We’ll show you how quick and easy it is to get chat up and running in-app with a real world use case example.
Building chat from scratch requires a significant amount of time, resources, and thinking about customer experience as well as business drivers. Sendbird greatly simplifies the process of building chat in your application with our APIs so you can get up and running in less than 10 minutes! Our engineers will show you how simple it is to set up in-app chat, and start 1-1 conversations with your users. We’ll get you started with the basics, and share best practices for how to scale chat from two to millions of users per app.

- Navigate and set up your environment in the Sendbird platform
- Create channels to connect to users and conduct 1-1 chat conversations
- Easily display your list of current chats you have with others
- Learn about customizing your chat UI
- How to implement push notifications
We’ll leave you with know-how and plenty of docs, guides and source code references. This workshop is open to anyone, whether you’re a front end, back end, or full stack developer, product or technical manager. Anyone who is interested in building chat into an application is welcome to join.
