Encountering type error when I try to send a message with a custom renderMessageInput component

Hey guys! Looks like there’s already a Pull Request for it with details. Just looking for feedback whether that PR will get merged or if I need to build my custom component differently than what’s described in the PR.

Hi @Mark_Buckner,

We do not accept external pull requests, so it would not be merged. I’ll have the team update the settings on the repository to clear up that confusion.

Thanks @Tyler I really appreciate the quick response. Will the team look into the error as well? I’d be happy to write a new topic here with details about the issue I’m encountering, if it would help.

If you could expand on the problem, and how that current PR helps resolve it, that would be fantastic. I can then work with our Engineering team to see if its something we can implement.
