I am unable to find in the documentation if it’s possible to moderate a message before it is published on the open channel.
Is it technically and administratively possible in the Sendbird chat?

Currently it is not possible unless you moderate it client side. We are in the process of working on pre_event webhooks which would allow you to moderate the message after the user hits send but before the message is sent to the channel. I do not have a current ETA on when that will be generally available.
