Nick name not coming in display when receive the call notification

We are integrating the vide/audio call. We are facing the following issue:

  1. Incoming call notifications, caller id is displayed, while we want to show the nickname while receiving the call.
  2. When calling from iOS to Android, we are sending nicname, but in android nick name is not displayed, but show caller id. But when call happens from Android to Android, Nick name is displayed.
  3. Nick name in Call log not showing in iOS, but showing the caller ID. Android working fine.

Please advise, as stuck into it.

Welcome to the Sendbird Community. I’d love to take a look at this with you. I just want to ensure that I properly understand your problem.

When making calls from iOS to Android, you’re sending the nickname, however the user_id is being displayed in the push notification? However, when the call is Android to Android, the nickname is being displayed in the push notification?

Could you provide me a couple of pieces of data:

  • What version of the iOS Calls SDK are you using?
  • What version of the Android Calls SDK are you using?
  • Can you share how you’re creating the call in both instances?

Additionally, could you DM me the following items:

  • Application ID
  • Call IDs of both working and non working examples.
