SendBird UI components?

I’m evaluating SendBird to potentially use in our existing application. If I would like to incorporate messaging, and don’t want to build all the UI components from scratch, is the idea that I would adapt code from the SendBird-ios example app? I found reference to SendBirdUIKit in your GitHub samples, which appears to be some kind of UI component library, but the example app doesn’t seem to use it, and I can’t find documentation for it on the doc section of your website.
