Business Messaging is not available in all regions, correct? I see in my dashboard that for North Virginia 2 there is only In App, Kakao and Push Notification channels. I don’t see SMS, email or WhatsApp for example. Am I doing something wrong? Are those maybe available in another region?
Currently, support for WhatsApp is still under development. We do not currently support email. As for SMS, you’ll need to contact our Sales team, as it does require it to be enabled on our side due to phone number registeration/purchasing.

So we’re currently using Sendbird for in app chat, and we were looking into omni channel communication. Specifically, we’d like to be able to support sending users a push, email and sms alert whenever they receive an in-app message from another user. Is this something that could be done?
As mentioned, we do not support email at this time. In terms of Push/SMS, you could absolutely do this but you would be responsible for consuming webhooks from the chat service, and then making an API request to the Notification service to trigger the Push/SMS (Though push is likely already sent as part of the chat).
