New Pricing?

I saw SendBird updated the pricing page.
I’d love to learn more!

Hi @Jack_Park

Yes! We recently launched self-service :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

With self-service, you can directly subscribe to the SendBird Chat service without having to contact our sales team. Our self-service plan offers you a 30-day free trial of our most popular features, at the end of which you will have the option of choosing between two plans - a Starter Plan and a Pro Plan. The Starter Plan helps small businesses looking for essential chat features and basic moderation capabilities to get chat up and running quickly. The Pro Plan is suitable for growing businesses, it has everything from the starter plan and comes with advanced messaging features, advanced moderation and analytics capabilities.

Does SendBird still have a free tier available with a max of 25 peak connections? The reason I ask is because I have a specific use case: I’m working on a messaging app tutorial for students and I based it on Sendbird. I wanted these students to be able to sign up with Sendbird as they each learn to build a production ready messaging app.

@bkkilaru Yes, free trial allows our customers to have 25 peak connections.

Do you want to share more about the tutorial you are making?
I can see if there is anything I can support for preparing for the tutorial!

It’s more interesting if there’s an option to be on a free plan (1K MAU, 25 peak concurrent) after trial ends? No Starter/Pro features like thumbnail generation, just free quota?

@soxjke For more customized plan, we also offer custom plan.
