Using a private group channel to send system-generated notifications

We’re building an app that contains team management features and would like to send a message to a user through a dedicated group channel whenever a member joins or leaves that user’s organization.

We thought of adding a system user and creating a “Notifications” channel with each user, but it seems that a user is allowed to join up to 2,000 group channels only, which means this approach would essentially be limited to 2,000 users.

Is there a better way to achieve this?

Hi @HTC, Yes, it seems your application plan that you have been joined has a limitation to join the channel. If you’d like to expand the channel size you have to join another feature version, like the enterprise. You can see this link regarding the pricing policy.
